Hiatus

Sorry guys, but we’re going away for a little while. I don’t know when we’ll be back with another show. In the past month, all three of us have had job changes and it’s very rare that all three of us can match schedules. We really haven’t done anything together since we saw The Dark Knight over a week ago.
This is not an ending of the show. Old episodes will remain on the site. So, stay subscribed in iTunes, as any new shows will come to you automatically. Those that listen from the site: check back at least once a month.

Thanks from the WARPcast Team!

First, my apologies for the delay in the show’s release. I made the terrible mistake of renewing my WoW account. It won’t be renewed.

As usual, we start with review a few movies. Adam and Brian went to see Get Smart and Wall-E. Brian and I give a quick review of The Incredible Hulk.

What you can do:
Petition against the RIAA
Use RIAA Radar to see if the CDs your are buying are supporting the RIAA. The site also has a list of the top RIAA safe albums.
Support the artists directly by going to concerts and buying other band merch. You can find local events with sites like Upcoming and Eventful.
Find out about other musicians with online services like Last.FM and Pandora.
Buy music from indie artists on sites like Amie Street, Jamendo, and Podsafe Audio. A list of sites can be found here.
License your own music as Creative Commons (as we do with our own shows).

To play us out, we are going with “Opening Band” by Paul and Storm.
